Good thing she loved dressing up in her costume, we had a lot of parties to go to.

Daddy's Work Party
Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's Party
Trick-or-Treat
In Utah, when Halloween lands on a Sunday, we get to celebrate on Saturday. We started our Saturday with a special Halloween donut. Maya got donut eating practice during our California trip a couple weeks ago (A Walker tradition, donuts EVERY Saturday morning). She made Grandma and Grandpa proud.
First time Trick-or-Treating...
When the rain calmed down, we headed across the street to visit a couple houses. Here we are at one of the two stops. Maya wasn't too excited, as expected. She loved handing out the candy, the kids couldn't come fast enough.

Idaho Trip
September 20, 2010
7 lbs 15 oz
My brother Sawyer and his wife Maddie had their first baby last week. We decided to join my parents for a quick trip to Rexburg to meet the adorable little guy. It was fun to stay with Tommy's sister's family in Idaho Falls, Tommy even entertained them with a salsa lesson made with vegetables from our garden.
While in Rexburg we ate lunch at Craigos (so not the same as back in the day but was good), saw the temple, walked around the gardens, and ate ice cream.
Playing with grandpa at the gardens, lots of fun fountains
Of course, with grandpa anything you want goes so she ended up IN the fountain
The cute family
Maya's first, very own, ice cream cone
Thanks Jen, Trent, Saw and Maddie, it was quick but great to see you all!

Choo Choo
Tommy took work off last Friday so we took Maya on a train ride (Frontrunner and Trax) around downtown.
The first stop was shopping at the Gateway, somehow I ended up with a few bags. She loved watching the water dance to the music.
Next stop, Temple Square. We enjoyed seeing the Salt Lake Temple (she is familiar with Angel Moroni and kept pointing at it), looking at the flowers, and the Reflection Pool.
