Monday night we carved a couple of pumpkins with the kids. As soon as we opened up the top Rett said, "Ewww!" They both would not touch the "guts" and requested scary pumpkin faces, which apparently means a zigzag mouth according to them.

Breakfast with the witches
This morning was so much fun. We headed down to Garner Village and had breakfast with the fun and silly witches! We ate, laughed, danced, and shopped.
Here are the kids sporting their new Halloween shirts before we headed out the door.
Waiting to eat, hanging out with cousins and Aunt Tor Tor.
Snap shot with my beautiful sisters-in-law Tori, Jackie and mother-in-law.
Maya collected a few autographs from the witches.
These kids sure love their grandma!
Grandma spoiled the grandkids with big lollipops.
Busting a move on the stage outside.
We were wiped out by the end and ready to head home for naps.

Birthday Boy
Our little man turned 2 today and I don't know who was more excited, Maya or Rett? He is all boy and there seemed to be a vehicle theme going on with the presents, exactly what he would want! He was able to have cake and ice cream with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandma and grandpa Jensen last night. Today grandma and grandpa stopped by spoiling him with gifts. He sure is loved!

Pumpkin Patch
Maya's preschool had a field trip to the pumpkin patch this morning. Rett and I tagged along for a good time. We played in a maze, had story time, learned about all kinds of pumpkins, and headed out to the patch. Here are a few pictures of the fun.

Birthday Girl
Maya turned 4 years old on July 17th and what a fun day she had! She woke up to a big princess castle and a new princess and prince from mom and dad. Then, discovered a new bike from Grandma and Grandpa Walker. Later that day Grandma and Grandpa Jensen stopped by with more gifts and money! We swam at Cherry Hill with cousins after naps and ended our evening with dinner at "Red Robins." We love you big girl!!
Soccer
Go Team Cinderella!
Maya started playing soccer for the first time at the end of August. She has had three games so far and improves each week. She is a hustler, she keeps up with the group but isn't too aggressive about getting the ball herself. It frustrates her dad to watch, she is often handed the ball and she just looks at it right in front her feet and waits for someone else to come along and kick it. After the first game when asked if soccer was fun she answered, "I liked the practice. The game is too much running." But believe it or not since then she has looked forward to every game and gets excited for Saturdays (even though all she does is run a ton and kick the ball very little).
Here are some pictures of the practice right before her first game:
