We got 5 hours of snow this morning, lucky us! When daddy got home from work (before bedtime-yea) these two got right to playing in the snow. Daddy is WAY more fun than mommy!
Maya did it! She usually just counts "1..2..3..5" or starts out with "6..7..8..9..10," but during dinner the other night she rattled off 1-10 perfectly. We are thrilled that she remembered the number 4 (it is often forgotten). More importantly, she was able to do it again when asked. It's not a fluke!
It is beautiful today (don't let that hood fool you, she just loves to wear it) so Maya got to take her first ride outside on her 4-Wheeler. It was great to see her loving it, riding around the house just wasn't cutting it!
Here is a quick video of the event. She doesn't quite have the steering down so I have to constantly help her stay away from the grass, it's not too exciting but at least daddy can see her ride.
Maya has her own dance party at home every day, she was thrilled when she discovered that her cousin love to dance too. Dance skills must skip a generation, they've got moves! Here they are before my brother's wedding reception started, we were quite entertained.
We were able to spend some time in California this past week for my brother Jake's wedding. They were married in the Sacramento LDS Temple.
The kids LOVED dancing before, during, and days after the reception.
(WIPED OUT!)
We also celebrated Tommy's birthday on February 27th. (There is a cake that they are blowing the candles out on. Tommy's favorite is carrot cake and my family is all about the chocolate, so he got a personal sized cake.)
We were married on April 21, 2007 and have been loving every minute of it. Our adorable daughter, Maya, joined us July 2009 and sweet baby boy, Rett, in October 2011.
