Easter

I accidently erased all of our videos and pictures from Easter when I tried to import them into our photoshop program. This is all we have to show for Easter 2012, one picture on my phone before church. Maya had a lot of fun hunting for eggs when she woke up. She would find an egg, open it up, throw the egg on the ground, and put the candy in her basket. Rett slept through the whole Easter morning fun, the poor guy didn't even have an Easter basket. After church we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's for a yummy dinner and a MASSIVE egg hunt. These kids sure got spoiled.

Rett is 5 months

This little guy turned 5 months on Wednesday. He has had a rough time lately, his sister was kind enough to pass on her cold last week. As a result he ended up with a double ear infection and bronchiolitis. There has been a lot of wheezing and yucky coughs from our little man. To top it off, he got his first tooth over the weekend and another is on its way! He has shown some great improvements the last few days and we're almost completely back to normal.

At 5 months this little guy still loves to smile, giggle, and squeal like crazy. He loves to roll over to his tummy and GRABS EVERYTHING- he is getting a little too good with his accuracy. He LOVES his big sister and she is very good at making him happy and squeal. He is starting to notice when you leave the room and he doesn't like us to leave him behind. He has also shown a great interest in food, he thinks we should share whatever we are eating. He was starting to sleep through the night before he got sick but that seems to have completely disappeared (we're averaging 1 time a night to eat). He has also decided that he doesn't want to nurse anymore, he finds the bottle is much easier to eat from.

Missionary Family Home Evening

Maya has been talking about missionaries a lot lately. We saw some at Walmart the other day and she has started to call The Little Einstein song the "Missionary Song" (it says "...we're on our way the mission of the day..."). It was time to teach her about the importance of missionary work.

It was fun to watch Tommy pull out his missionary trunk full of all sorts of great memories.

Maya got her own missionary tag, just like daddy's. She thought it was totally cool and loved pretending to be a missionary.

Happy Birthday Daddy and a rollin' baby

It was Tommy's birthday today. Maya was SO excited all day to help him open presents.

We love you babe, you are the best dad and hubby! The little guy became mobile last week. Got a video with my phone for your viewing pleasure.

Rett had his 4 month well check today. He didn't take the shots well.

He's 4 months old today!

The little guy is continuing to gain weight like crazy. He is grabbing things and eating anything he can get his hands on. He has his check-up next week, we'll see if he's toping the charts!

Valentine's Day

I wanted to get some shots of the kidos in their cute Valentine outfits. I have yet to take a decent picture of these two together, never get them both smiling.

Maya and I started a "Mommy and Me" dance class last night. This girl was so hyper the whole hour before we left, she was very excited to go. I was dressed and prepared to do a lot of dancing with her. And, as expected, the other mothers/dad were encouraging their girls to participate by dancing right along with them. I did not have to take that roll, I was able to stand back and enjoy watching my little girl rocked it. She was a little wild and hyper (I'm sure it will die down as the newness wears off) but danced every second we were there. It was so much fun to watch her.
