Look what I can do!

Maya has been sitting up on her own for about ten seconds for a couple days. Today she is lasting a FEW minutes!
Enjoy some adorable pictures of my big girl.

Christmas

We got to enjoy some time with the whole Jensen Clan the Monday before Christmas. There was tons of great food, company, and a visit from Santa.

More interested in Mom than Santa.

On the road again... A few days after the party we took off to Sacramento for Maya's first Christmas.

Maya enjoyed playing with daddy's chips before he ate them.

Grandpa didn't waste any time feeding Maya Egg Nog.

Maya's first Christmas gift.

Getting some drum action with Uncle Dave.

Bathtime with Owen and Jack.
Payton, Maya, and Fallyn playing with Grandma's old jewelery.

Little Love Bug

I realized it'd been a bit since I've posted anything. For all those needing a Maya fix, here is our little love bug helping me wrap daddy's Christmas presents today. She's been sticking her tongue out a lot lately. Humm, where have I seen a tongue out the side before... anyone know where she gets that from?

CONGRATULATIONS TIFFANY AND JOE!

Last week my friend Tiffany and her husband Joe were able to come out to Utah and adopt an adorable little boy. I was very excited to be able to meet and hold the little guy.

(Maya's not quite used to that flash!)

California Part 2

Tommy was able to fly out of and into Sacramento when he was in Denver. Maya and I got to spend another week with my family with Tommy with us! We loved not having to wear coats and avoiding the snow they got back home. Here are a few things we enjoyed while staying at grandma and grandpa Walker's house.

Maya helped grandpa put in a new toilet.

We visited the Sacramento Temple, where Tommy and I were married. We volunteered when we were dating and planted this tree together.

We decorated Halloween cookies at my cousin's house.

I got to visit with friends from High School.

Grandpa introduced Maya to all sorts of new things during our visit. Not twenty minutes after we arrived we found licorice in her mouth. She also got to eat Hershey Kisses, fudge, and In-N-Out fries and ketchup.

Halloween

Maya got to experience her first Halloween with her California cousins. Earlier in the week we crashed my brother Robby's ward Halloween party and got some delicious chili (made by Cami). Halloween night was spent at my sister Erin's house where we ate amazing scones (again, my sister-in-law Cami made them), watched the World Series, handed out candy (thanks Tommy) while the older kids trick or treated, stole candy from the kids' bags, and had a great time visiting.
