Two Years Already!

Time truly does fly by. April 21, 2007 was the day that Tommy and I were married in the Sacramento temple. Although many great, and a few not so great things (scary car accident and horrible LATE nights of work) have happened, it only feels like it's been six months. We had booked a Mexican cruise leaving Sunday to celebrate. Unfortunately, we soon discovered a paragraph in the itinerary about pregnancy. They do not allow anyone over 24 weeks to go on the cruise. I would be 30 weeks pregnant on the last day of the cruise. Tommy was able to get all of our money back and we now have tickets to see Phantom of the Opera in Vegas instead. It isn't a cruise but, I am still excited! My life has been so blessed to have met and married this man. It has been two years of bliss.

I love you babe!! The proposal... he surprised me while I was visiting my family in Sacramento Getaway to Seattle

25 Week Belly Shot

My sister has made me feel guilty... Apparently, I have been neglecting family and friends by not posting any belly pictures. The reason for the neglect is simple, I just feel silly doing it. But after a phone call , I have been talked into it. Enjoy it Erin! (And no Sawyer, I cannot eat off of it. It isn't even close to being that big.)

It's not a glamorous picture. It is a quick snap shot from the end of the day, neck rolls and all!

BABY NEWS....

It is looking like we are joining the many, many others. Almost all the people we know who are expecting are having girls. AND WE ARE TOO! We were excited to see that she is healthy and measuring right about where we thought. I guess it's time to go shopping for girl clothes and all those cute bows!!

He did it!

The results are in... Tommy has passed all the sections of the CPA Exam!! All his hard work and dedication has paid off. No more late nights and all day Saturday studying. I get my husband back! Well, after busy season.

Way to go babe! I am proud of you.
Time to celebrate with Leatherbys!!

Penny is engaged!

One of my best friends, Penny Taylor, is getting married. I am very excited for her. She got engaged last night! Brandi, Jen, and I have all met her man and he has received approval from us all. Tommy even gave a thumbs up because he can "talk sports." She is planning to get married in June in the Sacramento temple. Can I fly in June if my due date is in July? Or is not flying a month before a myth?

This is a photo of us from back in the day (1986). No parent should let their child get their haircut like this (even if the child picked it out, no matter how hard the child begged, it's just wrong)!

We love you Penny. Good luck with the planning!

Announcement...

I guess it is time to let everyone in on our little secret... WE ARE PREGNANT!! I am into my 15th week. My due date is July 10th. It still doesn't seem real to me. I guess that's why I'm not shouting it from the rooftops and letting it spread by word of mouth instead. We have heard the heartbeat twice already and got a sneak peak at the baby at 8 weeks. We are excited and looking forward to being parents.
It seems like the first thing asked when people find out is how I have been feeling. Well, I have been extremely lucky, I have not been real sick. I only felt a bit nauseous, about every other week(all day long), but that all went away three weeks ago. Being tired is probably the biggest thing. There has been some improvement. I fall asleep on the couch around 8:30 now instead of the usual 5:00. Smells still really get to me, especially our dresser drawers that are made of cedar. I have to hold my breath and lay my clothes out to air out the night before so I don't gag putting them on. It's my fault, I picked the furniture out. I hated food for a while and I'm starting to get my appetite back. Tommy gets frustrated with me when we go shopping. Things sound great but when it comes to eating them I cannot stand to even look at them, let alone their smell. Let's just say, this baby has already costed us some money!

Wedding, Snow and New Years

We got Sawyer married without any problems, except a BLIZZARD! You cannot tell but all of us girls have blankets wrapped around our legs in the picture (Cami's sister Julie saved us!). Poor Maddie had to endure it all in her beautiful dress. It was fun to spend time with the family and enjoy yummy food at Rodizio for the luncheon. Thank you dad!

After sending everyone back home, well almost everyone (Robby and Cami's flight got canceled), we got prepared for Christmas. We spent Christmas here in Utah with Tommy's family. It was a lot of fun and I felt like I was at home, minus the Christmas Chinese dinner.

We brought in the new year down in St. George with Tommy's parents and a few of his sibblings. We played games, ate a lot of great food (amazing breakfast), enjoyed the sunshine, went Go-Kart racing, and even took a trip to Las Vegas. Here is Tommy and his nephew Brek shooting water into a balloon... and their winnings!
