Maya is two months old today and smilier than ever.

Here's a picture of my beautiful girl today. She is starting to be more intrigued with the camera than me so it's hard to get a good smile picture, sorry for the goofy eye. She is the sweetest, happiest baby (except between the hours of six and nine, lucky for daddy it's just in time for him to take over). As long as she has a full tummy and not tired yet, she is happy to be in her swing, bouncer, or just laying on her back looking around. For those who don't know, Maya has always slept wonderfully in her crib at night. Naps during the day are a different story, she will only sleep on somebody. She'll be in a deep sleep, laid down in her crib and five minutes later she is screaming, I'll pick her up and she is out right a way. Just recently I've been able to get her to sleep in her stroller while I go walking or her swing while do an exercise video. It's funny when it comes to her swing, she always lasts exactly 30 minutes but I'll take it. I time it so she'll fall asleep at the end of my workout so I can run to the shower and start my hair and makeup before she wakes up. Thank you girl's camp for teaching me how to shower quickly!
Here is her latest trick:
Rolling over already?
For a few weeks we have been finding Maya on her side and completely turned around in her crib when she wakes up to eat (by the way, she's been giving me 7 hour stretches at least three times a week, yeah!). We swaddle her up so I figured that must help her scoot around and turn easier. Just yesterday when I put her on the ground to change a diaper at grandma and grandpa's house I discovered her new trick. She showed off more that night at home and again today. She can't quite make it all the way over (darn shoulder!) but she is good getting on her side.

The bikers. My family enjoys going on bike rides, we took the Honda and Tommy's bike doesn't fit. Sorry babe!
My friends Jenifer and Tiffany came by to visit and give Maya some loves.
